The encyclopedia is divided into the following 5 volumes: Development and Phylogeny of the Immune System, Molecular Immunology, Activation of the Immune System, Immunity to Pathogens and Tumors, and Physiology and Immune System Dysfunction. This compendium includes sections on both basic science and clinical medicine, although the basic science sections are more detailed than those on clinical medicine.
