Abstract
This article was designed to discuss the theoretical foundations and methodological basis of the auditory component of the comprehensive medico-criminalistic study aimed at the identification of the speaker from his (her) voice and speech. The article is based on the literature data and the materials of forensic and criminalistic examination carried out by the author.
