People who experience tinnitus are always hoping for some way to reduce or eliminate the almost constant noise they are subjected to. Unfortunately, even finding a tinnitus cure in homeopathy has not been successful. The condition causes a variety of sounds including ringing, buzzing, roaring, whistling or thumping noises. Some people report the noise increases or decreases and it can be either constant or occasional depending on their environment or activity.
There is evidence that some people who have been exposed to loud noise repeatedly can sustain enough damage to their ears to cause tinnitus. This is most often reported among people who work in loud environments, rock musicians and heavy equipment operators. The condition may also be caused by high levels of stress, and the noise can either increase or decrease according to how much stress an individual is experiencing.
While the noise of tinnitus is likely to be present at some level all the time, background noise can make it less bothersome. Since the condition is more noticeable at night when no background noise is present, some people find playing soft music or sounds of nature help them deal with it.
Homeopathy is treatment based on the belief that whatever is causing a health problem can also be used as a treatment. One example that shows how ineffective homeopathy could be is prescribing caffeine for people who cannot sleep because they are kept awake by too much caffeine. This makes no sense so most people promptly reject the idea. The bottom line suggests there is almost no evidence of any tinnitus cure in homeopathy at all.
Although research from nearly every scientific field has been conducted in hopes of finding a treatment for tinnitus, there have been no positive results at this point. One tinnitus cure in homeopathy study suggested that Ginko Biloba could help by increasing blood circulation in the head, but the results of the best study showed this supplement has no effect at all.
While tinnitus caused by existing damage to the ear drum cannot be corrected, tinnitus worsened by stress can be reduced with stress reducing measures. Some people find using a sleep inducing medication before bedtime helps to alleviate their tinnitus symptoms somewhat. Some studies indicate that how people respond to tinnitus can affect how severe the resulting distress is. Those individuals who are upset most by the condition can also experience an increase in symptoms, but people who are more accepting of the problem may be able to reduce the noise in their head.
